Camp Kiowa draws campers (ages 7-16) from many different religious and ethnic backgrounds to experience 1, 2, 3, and 4 week sessions of overnight camp.

Camp Kiowa was founded in 2004 in Denton, Texas, just 35 miles north of Dallas, and on the quiet, 270 acre campus of Texas Woman's University. With the vision of a place children could experience unique, innovative, and exciting activities combined with the fun and excitement of an overnight summer camp.

Owners and Directors, Brian and Jennifer Manhart have taken children's summer camping to a whole new level. Camp Kiowa welcomes children, ages 7-16, and from many different religious and ethnic backgrounds, in search of a place to have fun, learn something new, and build relationships that will last a lifetime.

Following graduate school at the University of Kansas, Brian chose to take the next eight years to work at children's camps across the country. Beginning his career in Maine and later moving to Texas, Brian has spent a considerable amount of time learning and preparing for an opportunity to one day provide his own camp experience to families around the world.

The two have been married for 2 1/2 years and are excited about all the opportunities available to Camp Kiowa, and its campers, in the future.
