Our Story
1999: The Launch 
In a tiny studio nestled in the mountains surrounding California's Silicon Valley, our family met to address the pressing need for technology education for kids and teens. Our solution: to present the finest technology instruction, delivered in a summer camp setting and held at prestigious universities. Since our inception in 1999, managing quality and safety has been paramount. We have elected not to diversify our core business, focusing 100% on investing in our coveted leadership position in the summer camp industry. We dont take this responsibility lightly. Program Overview
iD Tech Camps provides weeklong Day and Overnight technology camps for students ages 7-17. Students may register for one or several weeks. You'll find us at the most distinguished universities including Stanford, UCLA, Northwestern, MIT, and the University of Cdiz, Spain. Each iD location boasts hand-selected and personally-trained staff, a unique collegiate experience and stimulating courses delivered in small clusters averaging just 5 or 6 students. Each summer camp season is loaded with brand new real-world curriculum and technology inspired by the biggest namesAdobe, Apple, Canon, HP, Microsoftas well as some rising stars we'll debut this season!

Small Class Sizes: Why 5:1 Matters
We have raised the standard for risk management by averaging just 5 students per staff member. Likewise, we average only 6 students per instructor for an incredible amount of personalized instruction. We don't dilute our instructor ratios by adding Counselors-in-Training, Camp Directors, or Program Activities Coordinators into the instructor equation. What you see is what you get. Each student receives an impressive amount of one-on-one attention.
Each student is provided a computer, so there is no need to share. This enables each student to learn at his/her own pace. All courses emphasize comprehensive, in-depth, experience-based learning. Each student will spend the full week working toward the completion of a project. Our attention to detail and desire to be the best has made us the largest, most recommended summer camp of our kind. It is a distinction we are proud of, but not one we take for granted. |
