Welcome to Pleasant Valley Camp for Girls

Since it was founded in 1969, Pleasant Valley Camp has been offering girls between the ages of eight and fifteen the opportunity to enjoy a superior resident camping experience.
At Pleasant Valley we provide the perfect setting for a girl to have fun while developing new interests, learning responsibility, improving old skills, being creative, exploring the natural environment, and meeting new friends from around the world.

- Girls ages 8 - 15
- Located on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire
- Campers are grouped into 3 villages
- Each camper designs her own individual daily activity schedule on the first night of camp
- All campers participate in an instructional swimming program
- Free choice periods and rest periods are incorporated into every day
- Special activities and events take place weekly and include overnights, co-ed days with North Woods, socials, and theme days
- Junior Village
Ages 8 - 10 Lakeside cabins with 10 campers and 3 staff
- Middler Village
Ages 11 - 12 Lakeside cabins with 10 campers and 3 staff
- Senior Village
Ages 13 - 15 Lakeside cabins with 4 or 5 campers and a staff member
 
Our Facilities
Pleasant Valley and North Woods camps are located on 200 wooded acres on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, just north of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. With a half mile of shoreline overall, each camp enjoys separate swimming waterfronts which are designed with safety as our prime concern.
Pleasant Valley provides all the facilities and equipment necessary for campers to explore, learn new things and enjoy their summer experience in the natural beauty of the Central Lakes Region.

Canoes, kayaks, windsurfers, and sailboats
- High and low ropes courses
- Athletic fields for soccer, field hockey, and softball; tennis courts
- Riflery range
- Archery range
- Horseback riding ring and trails
- Island outpost for overnight trips
- Arts & Crafts Center with ceramics studio
- Program hall with a photography dark room, stage and camp store
- The unique MacGregor Hall (Pleasant Valley) / Great Hall (North Woods) Complex: separate dining halls for girls and boys, common food service facilities and a multi-purpose activity room
- Woodworking shop
- Infirmary
- Camper cabins with screened windows
- Shower houses, centrally located to each living unit, with flush toilets, hot and cold running water and individual showers
